Vibenomics is seeking an experienced Demand Generation and Marketing Operations Manager to architect, implement, and optimize marketing standards and programs that support our company’s aggressive goals for expanding our retailer partner network and consumer goods brand advertiser customer base.  This data-driven marketer balances the art and science of marketing through a lens of operational excellence to efficiently drive pipeline and revenue growth aligned to company goals. A skilled marketing technologist and analytical thinker with inherent business instincts, the Demand Generation and Marketing Operations Manager translates marketing metrics into insightful recommendations that solve problems and exceed goals in creative ways.  Often faced with resource limitations and conflicting priorities, this individual is cautious to avoid shiny object syndrome, relying on a keen understanding that technology is only effective when aligned with clearly defined goals and business strategies, high-quality data, appropriate resourcing, and a well-defined, supported operating model. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this newly created position will play a mission-critical role in scaling Vibenomics’ Audio Out-of-Home (OOH) Advertising Marketplace as a premier destination for today’s most sophisticated advertisers. THE DEMAND GENERATION AND MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL:

  • Liaise with the marketing team to scope demand program requirements, budget allocations, resourcing needs, and delivery timeframes 
  • Architect, implement, and optimize multi-touch, multi-dimensional demand generation programs aligned to pipeline, revenue, and operational efficiency goals
  • Project manage marketing demand program execution and technology enablement, quarterbacking with marketing management, creative services, sales/ad operations, IT, Business Insights, and external vendors to manage marketing demand programs on time and within budget across paid, earned, and owned media channels
  • Forecast resourcing needs and navigate conflicting priorities with a pragmatic approach to resource allocations, attaining stakeholder input and agreement on prioritization queue as needed 
  • Templatize and evangelize highly repeatable demand-related request handling and task management processes that aid in managing expectations and achieving results
  • Ensure adherence with any applicable regulatory requirements such as CANN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, or any industry-specific compliance needs
  • Establish and adhere to agreed upon SLA’s in collaboration with core business stakeholders
  • Maintain marketing calendar that gives organizational visibility into marketing programs and results to ensure transparency and alignment with sales objectives
  • Collaborate with industry and product marketing and sales to define and optimize audience segmentation needs based on audience profile characteristics and behaviors for inclusion, as well as suppression criteria, for industry, product, partner, and named account use cases
  • Implement best practices in database management through the building, maintenance, and optimization of marketing audience segments accounting for appropriate data governance and standards, acceptable data cleanliness, record completeness and enrichment, and a data dictionary architecture configured to evolve with business priorities
  • Evaluate, recommend, deploy, integrate, enhance, and maintain core marketing technology stack that minimizes total cost of ownership and produces measurable business outcomes
  • Serve as marketing team’s subject matter expert and system administrator for all core technologies that support the marketing organization including Marketing Automation (MAP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Web Content Management (CMS), analytics and business intelligence
  • Manage micro and macro-level performance attribution reporting on all marketing campaigns and tactics, translating quantitative metrics into actionable recommendations, including creative optimizations, effective calls to action, and channel mix adjustments
  • Filter marketing results by Demand Waterfall stage and align to defined KPIs 
  • Facilitate regular business reviews with key business stakeholders to verify or adjust priorities based on business need
  • Drive continuous improvement through the identification, documentation, and implementation of demand generation best practices
  • Manage external technology and support solutions providers/agencies as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years overall marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years experience specializing in technology-enabled demand generation strategies, tactics, and operating models
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing, Technology, Data Science, Business Management, or related fields of study
  • Strong working knowledge of SiriusDecisions Demand Waterfall and supporting methodologies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with strong executive presence
  • Proven capabilities in managing campaign strategy and planning as well as tactical execution
  • Experience leading collaboration with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities to establish agreed upon course of action
  • Skilled at managing multiple deadlines, workflows, and budgets in a highly fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, expert-level process and project management capabilities
  • Hands-on experience selecting, implementing, enhancing, and administering core marketing technology platforms such as Marketing Automation (MAP ie: Pardot, Hubspot), Customer Relationship Management (CRM ie: Salesforce), Content Management (WCMS ie: WordPress), Analytics/Business Intelligence (Google/Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Datorama)
  • Media buying experience (paid search, display, sponsorships)
  • Strong analytical and data quality focus around audience definition and goal tracking
  • An inherently goal-oriented and revenue-focused data-driven marketer who intuitively prioritizes time and resources based on quantifiable business results
  • A self-starter who thrives with a high-level of autonomy, and provides clear direction to internal and external support resources 
  • Skilled at managing external technology and support solutions providers/agencies
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
